I’m a part-time, at-home grant writer for a nonprofit organization. I would highly recommend grant writing as a mom job. I have a perfect position that’s only 25 hours/ month on my own schedule, almost exclusively from home. You don’t need an MPA to do it and nonprofits are always clamoring for a good writer. Any Fellow would be qualified, in my opinion. Nonprofits also tend to be flexible and like part-timers/ contingents. It’s so nice to get to write as an outlet while my kids nap, especially for such an awesome cause.
